Hiking Snacks : Biscuits N’ Gravy


When you think of biscuits and gravy, you probably imagine buttermilk biscuits smothered in gravy. The type of thing to put you in a food coma for an hour or two. It’s the last thing you’d probably think of is a hiking snack, but we’re happy to say that you’d be wrong! This biscuits and gravy hiking recipe is loaded with protein and the taste of home.

In some parts of the country, you may have a difficult time finding single-serving plain pork rinds, but who are we to judge what a single serving is! 


  • Pork Rinds
  • Browned Breakfast Sausage, warmed
  • Chopped Scrambled Eggs, warmed
  • Country-Style Gravy, warmed
  • Shredded American Cheese
  • Black Pepper
  • Hot Sauce (optional)


Mix the ingredients in the bag in amounts to your liking and enjoy!
