  • The curators of the Prize are Francesco Saverio Russo and Salvatore Russo.
  • The prize-giving ceremony will take place on November 4th at the Teatro Sociale di Mantova, the prize will be awarded to a limited number of international artists capable of stand out for their own art.
  • Andrea Mantegna, one of the most important and well-known 15th century painters, has lived in Mantua since 1460, working for three generations at the Gonzaga dukes. Joining painter and buyer is an extraordinary passion for the antique: surrounded by the collection of marbles of his lords, and by the bronze sculptor Pier Jacopo Alari Bonacolsi, known as Antico, Mantegna creates the most convincing recalls of the classical world of all The fifteenth-century painting, the Caesar's Triumphs.
